R.I.P. THE CUT IS HERE!

Yeah boys!

After 2 months of procrastination on this project, we can finally say that "R.I.P The Cut" is now online!

This will be the place to discuss what you thought would of happened in series 4, to send in pictures and videos and much more!

IT'S OFFICIAL! Skins US Cancelled!

I guess it's for the best...

It has been officially confirmed by MTV that Skins US has been cancelled and won't be renewed for a 2nd season...

The reason?

• Terrible ratings
• Over half the advertisers pulled their ad's
• Parental groups bashed it

This is what MTV had to say about it:

"Skins is a global television phenomenon that, unfortunately, didn’t connect with a US audience as much as we had hoped. We admire the work that the series’ creator Bryan Elsley did in adapting the show for MTV, and appreciate the core audience that embraced it."

Well we knew it wouldn't work from the start, if they didn't copy it, they may have had a chance... but hey Skins UK is still on! Yaaayy :)

Who is playing Rudy?

The This Is England '86 Joseph Gilgun actor has signed up to play new character Rudy !

He will replace Robert Sheehan, who is quitting his role as Nathan to pursue a film career. His departure will be shown in a special online-only episode ahead of series three.

A statement from Channel 4 reads: "New kid on the block Rudy gets a rude awakening in his first few days of community service, learning that with the keys to the infamous locker comes a great deal of running and screaming and, in some instances, bloodletting. But that really is the least of his worries. More pressing is just how to keep his secret superpower, well, secret. And is it super? As in from the A- List?"

 Hm... this is an interesting choice... lets hope he does a good job!

NO! Confirmed that Robert Sheehan is leaving Misfits!

Well this is lame.

After weeks of speculating whether Robert Sheehan will be playing his epic character Nathan, but sadly he wont!

But fear not! He will have a special online episode... this is what E4 says....

"And an exit as big as Nathan's (ahem) needs to be pretty special right? Right? That’s why it’s happening right here, online, on your very own E4.com. Howard  is working on an exclusive online short that you’ll be able to get ahead of series 3 – details are still pretty hush hush but we do know one thing. IT’S IN VEGAS BABY! Knowing Nathan there’ll be more tripling than doubling down and more crabs than craps…"

But also there will be a new character joining the asbo... well 4 called RUDY! But no news on anything else yet!

No more of the cut!!!!

Today, is a sad day A VERY SAD DAY

I know this is late but most of the team are on holiday including me and Carmaa who are in America right now, so we were checking if anything important has come up and well it has...

The BBC are NOT recomissioning the cut! :(

This has got to be the worse thing BBC have ever done, getting rid of one of the most entertaining and different teen dramas out there. I thought there would be a little hope since BBC made E20 and thats like the cut but it seems the BBC have NO HEART and has let an EPIC show with over 5000 fans and have put it to rest.

And whats more annoying is that the facebook page is no longer running and fans can't post anything... 

This has defenitely put a spanner in the works on this blog

The first reason we did this blog was for the cut, then skins and misfits came along, we love the cut because its relatable, skins is very OTT and more about the darkness of teen life where the cut showed the real stiuations teens like us go through EVERY DAY.

I want to thank all the cut fans for coming on this blog and supporting it and especially to the makers of the cut (it wasn't there wault it ended) who posted our blog on their site, we are forever grateful for that...

But who says the cut can't live on? 

We're getting our tech geeks on a hopefully we will have a forum type thing especially for the cut on this blog so everyone can discuss ideas they wanted to happen in series 4 and stuff like that.

THE CUT WILL LIVE IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER!

Oh what to do?

As lots of you may know....

Misfits is over but returning October/November time

The Cut is over and we have no idea if its ever gonna come back (But it might be going on DVD)

Skins UK and US are over too, Skins UK returning January and US is still up in the air

So what to blog about now?

Well we will be talking more about the actors in the shows (E.g Robert Sheehan in Killing Bono) 

And we might be adding more shows to blog about as some of you asked about us blogging about 90210 and Eastenders E20 but we will tell if we do or not....

Don't forget you can chat on our little chat box and we'll try and answer all your questions...
